Gurez valley is famous for its beauty, its vast forests, pastures, and green meadows with a serene environment. The picturesque valley, hidden among the high mountains, was once the gateway to the famous Silk Road from Europe to Kashgar in China.Located 123 kilometers from Srinagar and 86 kilometers from north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, Its 6-7 hours journey from Srinagar, and 4-5 hours from Bandipora. Gurez is situated at an elevation of 8,000 feet surrounded by the snow clad high Himalayas and the KishanGanga (Neelum in Pakistan) river flows through the valley. The weather in Gurez is typical Kashmir weather with the mercury dipping upto -10C in winters and summers seeing a maximum of 27C. Gurez typically remains cutoff in Winter from Mid-December to March. The ideal time to visit Gurez is between May and October. Gurez is an ideal place for spending couple of days camping, rock climbing and fishing. The cool gushing waters of the KishanGanga can stimulate a refreshing vibe in you. The humongous green laden mountains can provide a soothing feeling to your tired eyes. The simple life of the locals alleviates your mind of all the stress. The wild wooden houses make your idea of luxury and comfort change. The trekking Routes from Gurez and Tilel lead upto Gangabal and Sonmorg to its east and Drass , Dahanu and Zanskar to its north. The major sites of attractions in Gurez are

Day 01: Arrival At Srinagar
After arriving at Srinagar airport our car will be waiting for you outside the Airport to pick you up and transfer you to hotel at srinagar for night stay.
Day 02: Srinagar -Gurez
After breakfast you will be heading towards Gurez situated 125kms away from srinagar.it will take around 4-5 hours to reach.On the way you will pass through Razdan pass( 11,600ft).On the way you will have scenic view of Damsite Gurez & Kishan-Ganga river.After reaching Gurez you will check in into your hotel for night stay.
Day 03: Dawar - Tulail-Dawar
Today you will visit Tulail valley situated at a distance of 41 km from Dawar. On the way we will visit many beautiful places like Sheikhpura and Chakwali (60 km from Dawar).Later in the evening we will drive back to Dawar for night's stay.
Day 04: Gurez Local Sightseeing
After breakfast you will be visiting Izmarg.it is an unexplored wonder of nature, after reaching you will spend some time there in the meadows and enjoy the scenery.After that you will explore local town Dawar and will visit View point & Habba khatoon peak which is pyramid shaped mountain and also Habba Khatoon spring today.Later you will travel back to hotel for night's stay.
Day 05: Gurez - Srinagar
After having breakfast you will check out and will travel back to Srinagar, we will take the same road that we used to reach Gurez. After reaching Srinagar you will check inn into a hotel. After that you will do local sightseeing around Srinagar. You can also do Shikara ride. Later you will travel back to your hotel for nights stay.
Day 06: Srinagar - Airport
After checking out our car will drop you at Srinagar Airport.
